1. What comes with the Write Plate?

You will receive a porcelain Write Plate that has been prestrung with a black and white gingham ribbon, a Write Plate pen, an idea sheet, and it will come in a double corrugated gift box.

 

2. Once I write on the Write Plate, can I wipe it off and change the message?

YES! The wonderful trait about our plates is that you may write a message and change it whenever you wish! The Write Plate comes with a black erasable pen, also known as the Write Pen. It writes dark and clearly yet can be wiped off completely with a paper towel.

 

3. Can you write a message on the Write Plate or change the ribbon for me?

Due to a new shipping policy we are unable to customize your plates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

 

4. Can I write a permanent message on the Write Plate?

Yes! It is always fun to sign the back of the Write Plate before gifting it to that special someone. Simply use a permanent marker and if you mess up, don’t worry….just use rubbing alcohol to erase your mistake!

 

5. Can I eat off the Write Plate after I have written a message on it?

We do not recommend ever eating off of the Write Plate once a message is written on the Write Plate. If the surface is clean, eat away!!

 

6. Is the Write Plate ribbon interchangeable?

Yes, the Write Plate is very easy to string with any ribbon you choose within the proper width of 1 1/2 inches.

 

7. When can I get my order?

We will ship within one week of receiving your order.

 

8. Can I pick up my order locally?

No, all products are stored and shipped from a separate location.

 

9. What happens if I receive a broken plate?

Please report the breakage to the Write Plate via email or phone upon receiving the plate. In the event that your plate is broken upon arrival, the shipping box and packing materials must be kept. Otherwise an exchange will not be possible.

 

10. Can I ship the Write Plate to someone else?

Yes, you are able to select a shipping address that is different from the billing address.

 

11. Can I have the Write Plate shipped overseas?

Yes. Please contact us for details, as the shipping cost will be increased.

 

12. Can I use my own pens on the Write Plate?

You may use any dry-erase pen, however we do not guarantee any pens except the Write Plate pen. Other pens may leave a ghost when they are erased.

 

13. How long is the ribbon that comes on the Write Plate?

2 yards and we recommend 1 ½ inch ribbon

 

14. What color is the Write Plate stand?

The Write Plate stand is made of wrought iron and therefore is black/brown with an antique finish.

 

15. What is your refund policy?

We allow refunds within 10 days of receiving your Write Plate products. You will be responsible for any shipping charges necessary to return your products.

20. What is a topper?

A topper is a handmade and handpainted decorative accessory that can be attached to the Write Plate with putty that is provided. Toppers come in all shapes and sizes and are either wooden or ceramic.

 

 

21. Who makes the toppers?

Functionally disabled residents at the Brookwood Community make the ceramic toppers EXCLUSIVELY for The Write Plate.
